정보주체의 개인정보에 대한 통제권 강화 및 개인정보관리 전문기관 또는 안전조치의무를 이행하고 인공지능 등을 이용한 자동화된 결정이 정보주체의 권리 또는 의무에 중대한 영향을 미치는 경우 정보주체가 이를 거부하거나 해당 결정에 대한 설명 등을 요구할 수 있도록 하는 것

개인정보를 국외로 이전할 수 있는 경우를 확대하여 국제기준에 부합하도록 하는 등 현행 제도의 운영상 나타난 미비점을 개선ㆍ보완하는 것
2011년 3월 29일부터 시행되고 있는 개인정보보호법의 2차 개정안이 2023년 3월 14일 공포되어 2023년 9월 15일부터 시행될 예정입니다. 이에 정보주체의 개인정보에 대한 통제권 강화, 개인정보관리 전문기관 또는 안전조치의무를 이행, 인공지능 등을 이용한 자동화된 결정에 대한 정보주체의 거부권 등이 보장되며, 이동형 영상정보처리기기 운영기준 마련, 국외로 개인정보 이전이 가능하도록 규정되었습니다.

The second amendment of the Personal Information Protection Act, which has been in effect since March 29, 2011, will be promulgated on March 14, 2023 and will be implemented from September 15, 2023.Therefore, the information subject’s right to restriction on automated decisions using artificial intelligence, etc. is guaranteed to strengthen control rights of information subjects, personal information management agencies or safety measures, and the operation of mobile video information processing devices.It is defined to be able to transfer personal information abroad.
