The Global Risks Report 2023 ranks cybercrime and cyber insecurity as the 8th most severe global risk within a two-year and 10-year period. This is based on a survey of over 1,200 risk experts, indicating that cyber risks will remain a significant concern over the next decade. Furthermore, a majority of polled cyber and business leaders fear that geopolitical instability will trigger a major cyberattack within the next two years.
