The Cybereason Defense Platform has detected and prevented an ongoing attack targeting millions of 3CX Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) desktop users. The trojanized 3CXDesktopApp retrieves malicious payloads from command-and-control servers, which can lead to data exfiltration and compromise of up to 12 million users across 190 countries. Cybereason NGAV provides protection and IOCs have been added to the Global Threat Intelligence Server.
