Barracuda warns of email gateways breached via zero-day flaw
Barracuda today warned customers that some of the e -mail security gateway (ESG) home appliances were in violation of zero -day vulnerabilities last week.Vulnerability was found in the e -mail scan module on Friday, May 19, which was solved by applying two security patches on May 20 and 21.Customers were notified through the ESG user interface, and they were contacted by certain customers.Barakuda requested customers to check the network invasion, and the SaaS email security service was not affected.
