지난 금요일 인디 게임 출판사 'Gellyberry Studios’가 개발한 무료 MMORPG '에스티 리알 : 요르의 에코’에 랜섬웨어 공격이 있었습니다. 공격은 17,000 명의 플레이어 계정을 파괴하고 게임 내 항목들을 삭제하며 진행 상황도 삭제되었습니다. 공격자는 암호화 키로 보상을 요구했지만 개발자는 암호 해독 키를 제공하지 않았으며 영향을 받은 시스템을 수동으로 복원하기로 결정했습니다.

Ransomware attack on indie game maker wiped all player accounts
Last Friday, there was a ransomware attack on the free MMORPG ‘Estee Lial: Jord’s Echo’ developed by the indie game publisher ‘Geleberry Studios’.The attack destroyed 17,000 player accounts, deleted in -game items, and also deleted progress.The attacker demanded rewards by encryption keys, but the developer did not provide a cryptocurrency and decided to manually restore the affected system.
