Monti Ransomware는 2022년 6월에 발견되었고, Conti Ransomware와 유사한 유사성으로 주목을 받았다. Monti Group은 Conti 팀의 널리 인정된 전술, 기술 및 절차를 모방하고 Conti의 누출된 소스 코드를 사용하여 많은 도구를 통합했다. 2023년 3월부터 8월까지 Monti Ransomware Leak Site에서는 세다, 합법적인, 삼, 금융 서비스, 보건 의료, 기타 6개 산업의 회사가 노출되었다.
