Crown Resorts confirms ransom demand after GoAnywhere breach
Crown Resorts, a Blackstone-owned company with $8 billion annual revenue, reported a data breach caused by the Clop ransomware gang. No customer data was affected and their operations remain unimpacted. Several other organisations have also been targeted by Clop and are facing extortion threats, while Fortra, the vendor of GoAnywhere software, is facing a class action lawsuit in the US.
