The APT group, Goldenjackal, has been spying with the goal of the Asian government and diplomatic organizations since 2019, and Kaspersky traces their activities and reported that it has been Golden Jackpal since 2020.They perform phishing with malicious documents and install Trojanized ‘Skype’, which drops Trojan.In addition, they use a custom .NET malware tool set that provides functions such as dumping credentials, data theft, and malware loading.
