Hackers abuse Google Command and Control red team tool in attacks
The Chinese national sponsorship hacking group APT41 has been found to abuse the GC2 red teamling tool as a target for a wide range of industries in the US, Asia and Europe.They were using the GC2 in data theft attacks on Taiwan media and Italian jobs.According to Google’s report, I interfered with the APT41 attack against Taiwan media companies that want to distribute GC2 agents through phishing emails.
