The Lockbit Ransomware Gang appeared as the first major ransomware operating to target the MAC, and found Zip Archive in VirustOtal and contains most Lockbit encryptions.It includes a new encryption for Apple Silicon, ARM, FreeBSD, MIPS and SPARC CPU, and the Apple M1 encryption was uploaded to VirustOtal in December 2022.It is also possible that it was thrown by chance with a test build.
