New MacStealer macOS malware steals passwords from iCloud Keychain
MacStealer is a new info-stealing malware targeting Mac users, stealing credentials stored in their iCloud KeyChain, web browsers, cryptocurrency wallets and potentially sensitive files. It is being distributed as a malware-as-a-service (MaaS) for $100 and is capable of running on macOS Catalina to Ventura version 13.2. It can extract usernames, passwords, cookies, credit cards and files, as well as System information and Keychain password information. It can also target Coinomi, Exodus, MetaMask, Phantom, Tron, Martian Wallet, Trust wallet, Keplr Wallet, and Binance cryptocurrency wallets.
