OT and IT Visibility and Efficiency Barriers
In June 2023, the SANS Institute published a report “Breaking IT/OT Silos with ICS/OT Visibility,” written by Jason Christopher in collaboration with Trend Micro, which surveyed IT and OT security in various industries around the world.About 350 respondents participated.The report discusses the barriers to increased visibility, the technical limitations of legacy devices and networks, and the understanding of IT staff.
