Ukrainian hackers take down service provider for Russian banks
The Ukrainian hacker group, Cyber.anarchy.squad, attacked the Russian telecommunications supplier, Infotel JSC on Thursday evening.The company has a headquarters of Moscow, which provides connection services between the Russian central bank and other Russian banks, online stores and credit institutions.Attacks show that many major banks across Russia have become impossible to pay online.Infotel is working to restore the damaged system, and the restoration work is currently underway.
