New Dark Power ransomware claims 10 victims in its first month
Dark Power is a new ransomware operation that has already listed its first victims on a dark web data leak site, and is targeting organizations globally with a ransom demand of $10,000. It is written in Nim, a cross-platform programming language known for its speed. Upon execution, it creates a randomized encryption key, kills certain services and processes, then sleeps for 30 seconds before encrypting files using AES (CRT mode).
