New Fog ransomware targets US education sector via breached VPNs
Since early May 2024, a new ransomware operation called ‘FOG’ has been in violation of the US education organization network using compromised VPN credentials.Artic Wolf Labs reported that the data steal was confirmed by double liquid attack, and the last documented threat was reported on May 23, 2024.
